Palate New Orleans is the creation of Glenn Vatshell who has brought his cooking experience from around the globe here to his kitchen on Willow Street. Glenn celebrates the native cuisine and culture of New Orleans with traditional favorites as well as an exploration of dishes from all over the world. We are eager to work with you to create a seasonal, customized menu and design theme for your event. Our sales and service team is friendly and professional. We are a full service, licensed caterer and can help you with all of your entertaining needs. We invite you to call and look forward to serving you.
 
Glenn Vatshell, Owner/Executive Chef
Glenn Vatshell is the creator and driving force behind Palate New Orleans. Glenn has lived and cooked all over the world, side by side with such noted chefs as Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, Alfred Portale, Ken Hom and Madhur Jaffrey. Glenn had been an executive chef for two decades with experience at the prestigious catering companies "Taste" in New York City and "Now We Are Cooking" in San Francisco. He is delighted to be back in New Orleans. His interest in the city extends to prior service on the Board of the Louisiana Landmarks Society as well as docent work, cooking in the 1830's kitchen of the Hermann-Grima House. His passion for the city, its food and celebratory culture inspired him to found Palate New Orleans: seasoned from around the world but spiced in New Orleans!
